Correct installation of the grain handling gearbox is the single biggest factor in achieving the design service life. Follow the steps below, in order. Skipping or compressing any step usually shows up as oil leak, premature bearing failure, or noise within the first season.

The EP-2390 is available in both cast iron and aluminum housings for this application.

Yes. The gearbox is built around standard bearing sizes and standardized seal kits. With a basic set of farm tools and a press (a simple bottle jack works for most cases), a competent farm mechanic can change a worn output seal or output bearing in two to three hours.
